Mike Tohikian, Founder & CEO

Hot Spot Properties is a Southern California based commercial real estate firm consisting of subject-matter experts committed to excellence. Hot Spot’s competitive advantage includes strong industry research, dedication, loyalty and always positive results for their clients.

At Hot Spot Properties, we specialize in Tenant and Landlord representation. Every client is treated like family. Our mission is to provide our clients with strategic solutions for all of their real estate needs. We do this through building trust and long-term relationships that exceed client expectations. Our current Tenant Roster includes 10+ years of client partnerships.

The Founder of Hot Spot Properties, Mike Tohikian, has 20+ years of experience in commercial real estate. Mike started his career throughout the Southern California region as a commercial real estate broker helping landlords with lease up of space along with implementation of tenant mix strategies for value-add shopping centers.

Later, Mike founded Hot Spot Properties, Inc. with the mission of becoming a leading Tenant Representation broker in the retail commercial real estate industry. In the process, he was selected as an exclusive market broker for multiple national brands including McDonald’s, Denny’s, Panda Express, Jack in the Box, Wing Stop, and other major retailers.

Mike Is also an avid real estate investing blogger and is the host of the well-known real estate podcast, “Hot Spotting with Mike Tohikian”.

Mike Earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing from Cal State University of Northridge, is a licensed Real Estate Broker in California and holds a Property Management Certification from the California Association of Realtors.

Mike also loves to hike, play sports, and believes that family always comes first. He and his wife are proud parents of two amazing girls, Alessandra and Camila.
